Lightning strikes twice
Lightning has struck twice for Hillside Thoroughbreds, with her recent Moonee Valley debut victory Something Violet adding to the growing list of talented fillies to have been bred and reared at the boutique Nagambie stud.
In February 2016 Hillside's Areti was impressive saluting at her Moonee Valley debut and 12 months later Something Violet took out the very same race!
Whilst Areti is named after the wife of Hillside's Peter Arvanitis, the Blue Diamond Stakes bound Something Violet is named after his daughter... and so the two fillies are very special horses indeed.
